We’re excited to be part of the proposed affordable housing complex project at 10711 S. Western Avenue, near the border between Gramercy Park and Westmont. The development aims to replace a 1920s building, providing 32 one- and two-bedroom apartments without on-site vehicle parking. Our structural engineering role ensures the integrity of the contemporary five-story edifice, crucial for accommodating low- and moderate-income households. Leveraging density bonus incentives, the project navigates zoning regulations to meet the pressing need for accessible housing. The design envisions a modern podium-type building, poised to transform the neighborhood landscape.
